Rebecca Wisocky was born on 12 November 1971 in York, Pennsylvania, United States. She got her training and graduating from the New York University Experimental Theatre Wing. She started her acting work on theater. In the 2000s, she was cast in supporting roles in such films as Pollock and The Picture of Dorian Gray.

She then became more active in the 2010s. During this time, she had recurring role on numerous shows. This includes 90210, The Mentalist, and American Horror Story: Murder House. She became further known for her starring role as Evelyn Powell on the TV series Devious Maids. Her most recent work on the big screen was in Hello, My Name Is Doris.
