Biography:

Nathalie Emmanuel was born on March 2, 1989 in Southend-on-Sea, England. She became first known for her role as Sasha Valentine in the popular British soap Hollyoaks, a role she played from 2006 to 2010.

She also gained notice for her role as Charlie in the television series Misfits. In 2013, she joined the cast of the HBO series Game of Thrones in which she played the role of Missandei.

She also performed in the West End production of The Lion King portraying Nala. She is set to appear in the upcoming film Fast and Furious 7.
